Aaron Andrew Hunt is a composer and teacher of counterpoint. His works include The Apprentice of Fugue, two books of 24 Preludes and Fugues, The Equal-Tempered Keyboard (microtonal Preludes and Fugues), two books of organ music, choral and instrumental works, and others.
He is an internationally recognized innovator in the field of microtonal music, having designed a microtonal theory, notation system (H-System), and keyboard (Tonal Plexus) based on a combination of ancient tuning theory and modern research in psychoacoustics and data visualization.
He is also known as a software developer of applications for music and publishing.
